Solid Works Design Manager – Sheet Metal & Hard Goods

Roles and Responsibilities

• Expertise in Solid works for sheet metal based product design
• Based at Bhiwadi, reporting to the Plant head you will be supervising and guiding the team of 8-10 Solid works designers involved in creating Designs for international and domestic clients .The prodcuts designed are producte in the factory and shipped out.
• Products include sheet metal based enginering products for OEMs and well as furniture and metal based hard goods for domestic and export markets.
• Understand Design concepts required by overseas and domestic buyers and clients of the company and quickly and efficiently get the required designs prepared by self and the team to be able to secure the project orders
• Coordinate with projects team and prepare product costing based on approved drawings
• Coordinate with manufacturing department to manufacture products in accordance with the approved drawings

• Technical Skills:-
• Expertise in Solid works for product design
• Well-versed with CAD/CAD Design software (2D & 3D)AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORK.
• Knowledge of Design calculations
• Punch & Die Clearance, Tonnage Calculations
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances ( GD & T )
• Knowledge of Jigs & Fixtures, Sheet Metal fabrication
• Forging Die and Tool Design for Trimming Die and Trimming Punch & Piercing Punch
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Documentation would be a plus
