- Sales Manager is a corporate resource role that requires an individual to articulate and implement the organisation's strategy for selling intelligent Transformer Management and Power System Management,Analysis | Diagnostics | Operations | Consultancy | R&D services.
- Develop strategies to achieve sales at price levels to ensure profitability. He/She actively seeks out major customers and forms good relationships with key influencers and buyers.
- Team leader who is able to motivate and ensure a highly effective team of sales managers.
Must have strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Must have a good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behaviour. Required to build and maintain quality relationships with customers, stakeholders and other companies.
Detailed Job Role and Responsibilities
- Work closely with all India team and top customers of Heavy engineering and Utilities.
- Enhance new and existing business development
- Implement and execute new Sales strategies successfully
- Ensure successful implementation of business plan Achieve Sales Targets/ develop channel sales within the specified timeframe
- Constantly identify gaps and bridge those gaps to achieve business performance (with focus on npower sales across existing clients)
- Find new avenues to improve business bottom line by setting target by bringing new customers on board
- Ensure proper feedback to support functions for effective operations at site, and for improvement
- Ensure 90% of sales form 3/5/10 years Annual rate contract
- Ensure 90% of active business for last 3 FY’s business
- Maintain efficient payment cycle to meet business requirement and meet NDL payment policy
- Work on hiring, motivating, developing and training sales team
- Ensure training on functional and behaviour skills for your team members, with 100% adherence
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external customers
- Should be able to establish SOP in sales function
- Should have clear understanding of customer decision making process and business conversion cycle
- Should have business acqumin with proper understanding of margins and cost
